Questions

Pricing, explained

What counts as a practice?

One client clinic or group that you bill for. A practice can have several locations and providers. Your billing company is the tenant and can manage as many practices as you need. Only active practices are billed, and a practice added or closed mid-month is billed for the days it was active.

Do you charge per user?

No. Add every biller, practice manager and provider you need. Each user gets a role and access to the practices you choose.

How are claims counted?

Each plan includes a number of claims per practice per month, pooled across all your practices. Claims created in the month beyond that pool are billed at the overage rate on the same invoice. A corrected claim is a new claim and counts toward the pool.

Is there a free trial?

New billing companies get a 14-day trial. Trial days are not billed. Note that UniPractice is currently offered on demo data only, so a trial is for evaluating the software, not for real patient records.

Is there a contract?

Starter and Growth are month to month. Scale is a custom agreement. Every customer signs a master services agreement, and a Business Associate Agreement before any real patient data is used.

What happens to our data if we leave?

Your records belong to your billing company and its practices. The export format and the retention period after you leave are set out in your agreement.
